Are you visiting outside of school holiday periods?
Then you can book our vacation accommodation for shorter periods, per weekend or midweek, but always with a minimum of two nights.
During school holidays, we rent out our vacation apartment for a minimum of three nights.
In July and August, bookings are normally made on a weekly basis (7 nights), but sometimes the booked weeks do not follow each other, which means that it is sometimes possible to book for fewer nights. Availability can be checked via book.

You can check in from 16:00. Check-out is no later than 10:00. This gives us time to clean the vacation apartment. Thanks to our flexible key system, you can also arrive later and/or leave earlier. You can find more information about this under the question “How do I get the keys to the vacation home?”

We work with a key locker containing all the necessary keys. This allows you to arrive or depart at a time that suits you best. As soon as the balance of the rental price is in our account, you will receive an email with the exact location and code of the key locker.

The apartment is located on the sixth floor and can be accessed by stairs or elevator via the main entrance and underground garage.

You sure can. Bed linen and bath towels are available for rent at an additional cost (through our rental partner). Kitchen towels are included in the base package. If you would like to rent these items, please indicate this when making your reservation. If necessary, you can also request this at a later date.

The kitchen is very well equipped. Here you will find a complete description of kitchen appliances, pots and pans, etc.

Absolutely! You’ve got your own underground parking spot on level -2, reachable via a car lift.

Full honesty moment: I (Catherine) was a little nervous about using the lift at first… but it’s super easy and works like a charm!

Yes you can. The parking spot is certified for electrical vehicles and an EV charging point is available. You can charge at €0.30 per kWh using your own card. 

The apartment has two spaces in the bicycle storage on level -1 of the building.
Would you like to go cycling during your vacation without the hassle of bringing all those bicycles with you? You can also rent bicycles near the apartment. Information can be found under the heading Activities.

No, in order to keep the apartment fresh, healthy, and pleasant for all our guests, smoking is not permitted indoors. We aim to provide a comfortable environment where everyone feels at home, including guests who are sensitive to smoke odors or have allergies.

We kindly insist you to smoke outside or on the terrace, respecting the neighbors and the environment.

Of course you can have visitors—we understand that it’s nice to see friends or family during your holiday. 
However, we ask that you do so in moderation. The apartment is not suitable for parties or large gatherings. A couple or family visiting is of course no problem, as long as they abide by the house rules and do not cause any nuisance to the neighbors or fellow residents.

​We trust in your common sense and respect for the peace and quiet of the building. Loud parties or busy gatherings in the apartment are not allowed.

We love animals and understand how important a pet can be to a family. However, we have decided not to allow pets in our vacation apartment.

We made this decision with hygiene, allergies of future guests, and the preservation of the interior in mind. We want to ensure that everyone—including guests with allergies—can enjoy their stay in comfort and peace of mind.

We hope for your understanding and respect regarding this decision.

Yes! Blankenberge train station is a 10-minute walk from the apartment (850m). Near the apartment, at the “Pier Blankenberge” stop, you can also take the coastal tram. This will take you to Knokke, Wenduine or De Haan in 15 minutes.

There is no trash room in the building.
At the end of your stay, please empty all trash cans and remove them from the apartment.

Trash can be easily disposed of in the city’s underground containers. The container is located on A. Ruzettelaan (intersection with Astridlaan), a 3 min walk from the apartment.

How to use these containers:

Option 1: With the Wastedrop® app

1. Install the Wastedrop® app on your smartphone.

2. Scan the QR code on the waste container.

3. Pay €1.10 via the app.

4. The hatch will open – drop in your waste.

Option 2: Without an app

1. Use your phone’s camera to scan the QR code on the container.

2. A payment page will open – pay €1.10 to IVBO.

3. The lid will unlock – deposit your waste.

4. You may use a regular plastic bag (no official municipal bag needed).

5. Close the lid after use.
